Mar. 22, 2015

Okay so this week has gone pretty fast!! But lots has happened with Chelsey!!! She pretty much invited US to the FHE (Family Home Evening) activity the YSA (Young Single Adults) were having and she had so much fun playing dodge ball! We saw her again on Tuesday and did a deep clean on her house... it was naaasty!!  We turned a couple blue rags yellow from washing down the walls and pretty much bleached the bathroom. We also set a Baptismal date with her for the 28th of March! She seemed a little hesitant but she put it on her Calendar and everything and kept bringing it up to everyone! :)

We have since taught her a few lessons including the Restoration and the Plan of Salvation. She got super emotional during the Plan de Sal. She was super close to her Grandparents who have passed and lost a baby at one point as well. The spirit was so strong in that lesson.. amazing!

On Friday she texted us saying she was super exited to meet with us because she had a couple of things she couldn't wait to tell us! Sista Dubs and I were freakin out the whole afternoon until we could meet with her. She had been in Pocatello that day with her Aunt at a jewelry party thing (kinda like Avon/). Anyway she told us she kept getting drawn to this one necklace and she didnt know why. She said it was gold and teel and she usually hates gold, but she thought it was so pretty! She went to go look it up in the catalog and it opened right to the necklace. Apparently that necklace was based off of a scripture (somewhere in Matthew). It was about faith and even if you can have the faith the size of a mustard seed you can move mountains. She said in that moment she became overwhelmed and she started crying and she just knew that she needed to be Baptized and the things that we had taught so far were true!! OHHH my gosh its giving me chills again!!!

She came to church again this Sunday and stayed for all three hours AGAIN. ANNND she made pulled pork sandwiches for the linger longer (every 3rd Sunday the YSA has a lunch thingy). AH! AMAZING!!

The Lord touches and talks to all of us. It may be in different ways than others, but he does touch us. This Gospel is meant for every one. It is simply beautiful and beautifully simple. It is not meant to be a test to try and figure out and it is not meant to trick us. Heavenly Father loves each and everyone of us beyond what we can ever imagine. He has a spot reserved for every one of us with our name on it, right beside him. He has given us all the tools we need to be able to make it there. All we have to do is keep trying.

I love you all!!!!!!
